Australian Open 2027

The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the tennis year, played across two weeks of January heat at Melbourne Park. Founded in 1905, it was the last major to abandon grass, and its hard courts and three roofed arenas — Rod Laver Arena chief among them — make it the most weather-proof Slam. Novak Djokovic owns the event like no one else, with a record ten men's titles, while Margaret Court's eleven remain the women's benchmark. The 2027 edition runs 18–31 January.

Tickets are sold through the tournament's official ticketing partner, opening with sponsor and member presales before the general public sale. The Ground Pass is the cheapest entry and covers the outside courts; daily Ground Pass allocations are capped.
