About the event
The Miami Open is one of tennis's ATP and WTA Masters 1000/1000-level combined events, part of the tier just below the four Grand Slams. It moved to Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins, after decades at Key Biscayne, building a temporary stadium-court complex within the NFL venue's grounds.
