About the event

The Sentry opens the PGA Tour season each January, gathering the previous season's tournament winners and leading FedExCup players for a no-cut, big-purse start to the year. After nearly three decades at Kapalua in Hawaii, the event moves for 2027 to the famous clifftop Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, with Sentry Insurance as the new title sponsor.
