Advent in Zagreb was voted Europe's best Christmas market three years running, and its strength is that it is not one market but many: stalls and stages spread across Ban Jelacic Square, the Zrinjevac park promenade and an ice rink in King Tomislav Square, linked by a walkable route through the lower town.
