Pride Amsterdam Canal Parade

Pride Amsterdam runs from 31 July to 8 August 2027, and the week turns on one Saturday: the organisers say the boat parade will sail through Amsterdam's canals on Saturday 7 August 2027. That single date decides when to travel, because the canal banks along the route are where the crowd goes and the rest of the nine days is programme rather than parade. A theme for the 2027 edition has not been published.

The parade sails on 7 August 2027, and it sails - the boats move through Amsterdam's canals instead of marching down a street. That is the whole reason the date matters more than the week: the nine days from 31 July to 8 August carry the programme, but the Saturday carries the parade, and the canal banks along the route are where the city goes.

Pride Amsterdam opens on 31 July 2027 and closes on 8 August. Within that week the organisers have so far confirmed one fixed point: the boat parade through the canals on Saturday 7 August. The rest of the programme, and the theme, are published closer to the date, so a visit booked now is booked around the parade and nothing else.
