About the event
The 24th Zagreb Film Festival runs 9 to 15 November 2026 across four venues - Kaptol Boutique Cinema, Kino Kinoteka, the Museum of Contemporary Art and Surogatkino KIC - with part of the programme also online. The competition is reserved for directors' first and second features, and the opening night carries a digitally restored Rondo, sixty years on.
Kaptol Boutique Cinema is the festival's centre and takes the opening night. Kino Kinoteka handles the repertory end, the Museum of Contemporary Art the gallery screenings, and Surogatkino KIC sits in the centre. The online strand is the fallback when a screening sells out - no queueing system is published.
Screenings are public, and part of the programme is streamed on zff.hr. Ticket prices and pass options for the 24th edition were not in the programme announcement of 14 October 2026.
