Quebec Winter Carnival (Carnaval de Québec) is one of the world's largest winter festivals, centred on Quebec City's Bonhomme Carnaval mascot, ice palace and night parades. Signature events include the canoe race across the icy St. Lawrence River and ice-sculpture competitions.
