Taipei city overview

Taipei works best as a base in Taiwan when you anchor days around Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and National Palace Museum. Use those sights to understand the city's history, street life and visitor rhythm. Taipei Taoyuan handles the main arrival flow, so hotel choice should balance the centre, transfer time and day-trip plans.
