About the event
The full distance runs from the water at Amager Beach Park to the cobbles of Christiansborg Palace Square: 3.8 kilometres of swimming, 180.2 on the bike through the countryside of North Zealand, and a marathon along the waterfront that passes the Little Mermaid, the Opera House, Amalienborg and Nyhavn before the finish. The 2027 race is on Sunday 22 August with the swim starting at 07:00.
The course uses the city as its finish rather than an industrial estate. Swimmers start in the sheltered water at Amager Beach Park, the bike course heads out through the countryside of North Zealand, and the marathon runs along the waterfront past the Little Mermaid, the Opera House, Amalienborg and Nyhavn before finishing on the square in front of Christiansborg Palace. The 2027 race is on Sunday 22 August.
