About the event

The Youth Olympic Games are the International Olympic Committee's event for 15-to-18-year-old athletes, blending elite junior competition with cultural and education programmes. Created in 2010, they are a proving ground for the next generation of Olympians. The 2027 Winter edition is held in Gangneung, South Korea.

Tickets are sold by the Games' own organising committee on a single official platform at the same prices worldwide, and demand is high enough that buyers apply to a lottery rather than buy on sight. Hospitality that includes a ticket comes only through the IOC's appointed provider — anything bought outside those channels can be cancelled at the gate.
