The Winter Olympic Games bring together the world's best skiers, skaters, sliders and snowboarders every four years - a fortnight of speed and spectacle in the mountains. First held in Chamonix in 1924, the Games have grown from a handful of events to a global showcase of winter sport. The 2030 Games are hosted across the French Alps.

Tickets are sold by the Games' own organising committee on a single official platform at the same prices worldwide, and demand is high enough that buyers apply to a lottery rather than buy on sight. Hospitality that includes a ticket comes only through the IOC's appointed provider — anything bought outside those channels can be cancelled at the gate.
