About the event
The San Marino round is set for 10 to 12 September 2027 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, on the Adriatic coast a short drive from the republic itself. The date comes from the provisional 22-round calendar the FIM published on 25 September 2026, and 2027 is the first season under the 850cc rules. Misano is contracted to hold the round through 2031.
Misano runs 4.226 kilometres over 16 corners - ten right, six left - and the MotoGP race is 27 laps, 114.1 kilometres. The 2027 round on 10 to 12 September is the first at the circuit under the new 850cc rules, and the venue is contracted to hold the Grand Prix through 2031. The circuit sits on the Adriatic coast between Rimini and Riccione.
Grandstand pricing for 2027 is not out, so value cannot be compared. What is fixed: the circuit holds 60,000, the track is 12 metres wide, and the longest straight runs about 530 metres - the overtaking spots are at the ends of it.
