About the event
Madrid runs its marathon and half marathon on the same Sunday morning, 25 April 2027, under the Zurich Rock 'n' Roll Running Series banner. It is the 48th edition. The course is known for being harder than it looks: the city sits at around 650 metres and the route rolls rather than runs flat. Entry is through the organiser MAPOMA, and places have sold out before the closing date in recent years.
