About the event
The Chicago Marathon is one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, run on a fast, flat course looping through the city's neighbourhoods. It is known for producing some of the fastest marathon times in the world.
Tickets
Entry is by application: runners apply in a single autumn window and places are drawn from it. Anyone who has finished five or more Chicago Marathons in the past ten years applies for a guaranteed entry instead of the drawing.
