About the event

The Canadian Grand Prix has been held on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve - a semi-permanent track on Ile Notre-Dame in the St Lawrence River - since 1978, and it consistently delivers drama. Long straights, heavy braking zones and the infamous 'Wall of Champions' at the final chicane make it a favourite of drivers and a reliable producer of surprises. Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton share the record with seven wins each. The 2027 race is on 11-13 June.
