About the game

Super Bowl LVI was played on 13 February 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood — the Rams' own home field. The Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20, and the game turned on its final drive: Cooper Kupp's leaping one-yard back-shoulder catch from Matthew Stafford with 1:25 left put the Rams ahead for good. Kupp finished with eight catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns and was named MVP, only the eighth wide receiver to win the award. The halftime show brought Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar to the stage, with 50 Cent appearing as a surprise guest.
