About the event
The 44th Donauinselfest runs from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 June 2027 on the island in the Danube, and it costs nothing to get in - it is the largest free open-air festival in Europe. The organisers kept the usual end-of-June slot for 2027 even after the record heat of June 2026, when the festival had been moved to July because of the Formula 1 weekend at Spielberg. The U1 and U6 stop at Donauinsel and Handelskai.
