About the event

Jazz in Marciac transforms a small town of under 1,300 residents in southwestern France into a major jazz destination each summer, built around a purpose-built chapiteau tent that has hosted major international names since the festival's founding in 1978. Trumpeter Wynton Marsalis is closely associated with the festival and its associated jazz academy for young musicians.
