About the event

The market fills Town Hall Square in the old town from 20 November 2026 until 6 January 2027, opening at 18:00 on the first Friday and running daily from 10:00 to 20:00, with hot drinks served until 22:00 and until 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. The tree in the middle of the square has a claim to being the first public Christmas tree in Europe, and it is lit on the first Sunday of Advent.
