About the event
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland fills the south-east corner of the park with fairground rides, an ice rink, markets and bars from mid-November until the new year. Entry is by timed slot and must be booked in advance; the rides and attractions inside are paid for separately. The 2026 season runs every day from 19 November to 3 January, closed only on Christmas Day, with entry at GBP 1.00 off-peak, GBP 5.50 standard and GBP 8.25 peak when booked before 23:59 the day before.
Hyde Park turns into a fairground for six weeks: the Euro Coaster, Munich Looping, Blizzard and Airborne run alongside what the organiser calls the UK's largest open-air ice rink. Indoors there is the Magical Ice Kingdom, built around Neverland for 2026, Gandeys K-Pop Dragon Circus, a Christmas by Candlelight concert and Bar Ice, a bar sculpted from ice. The Bavarian beer hall, the fire-pit bars and the street food stalls are what keep people there after dark.
Entry is by timed slot and has to be booked before you arrive: GBP 1.00 off-peak, GBP 5.50 standard and GBP 8.25 peak when bought before 23:59 the night before, and more on the day. Spend over GBP 25 online in one transaction and entry is free. Once inside, every ride, show and workshop is paid for separately, either per attraction or through a Ride and Game Credit package of GBP 30 or GBP 50. Gate times vary by day and the park is closed on Christmas Day.
