About the event
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show takes over the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea on the Thames for five days each May. The 2027 show runs from 18 to 22 May: the Tuesday and Wednesday are for RHS members only, from 08:00 to 20:00, and the public days are Thursday to Saturday, with the show closing at 17:30 on the final Saturday. Chelsea Late opens the Friday evening from 17:30 to 22:00. Members' tickets went on sale on 19 October and public tickets on 21 October.
The show takes over the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea for five days in May, on the bank of the Thames in the middle of London. The week has its own rhythm: two members' days before the public is let in, a late evening opening on the Friday, and the Great Plant Sell Off on the final afternoon, when the gardens are dismantled and the plants go to visitors. Eating is part of the day out, from the Ranelagh Restaurant and the Pommery Terrace to the tapas restaurant and the food courts.
Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 May are for RHS members only, 08:00 to 20:00. The public days are Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 May, and the show closes at 17:30 on the Saturday rather than 20:00. Chelsea Late opens the Friday evening from 17:30 to 22:00. The Great Plant Sell Off runs from 16:00 to 17:30 on the Saturday. Members' tickets went on sale on 19 October and public tickets on 21 October.
