About the event
Inti Raymi is Cusco’s annual celebration of the Inca sun god Inti, staged on 24 June around the southern hemisphere winter solstice. The modern presentation recreates an Inca ceremony through processions and performances at Qorikancha, the Plaza de Armas and the Sacsayhuamán archaeological site. The 2027 event falls on 24 June in Cusco, so tickets and transport planning depend on which part of the ceremony you intend to watch.
