About the event
Three days rather than one night: NYF Dublin runs from 30 December 2026 to 1 January 2027, with Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square as the main venues. The Echoes of Ireland concerts and a city-wide music trail open it on 30 December, the Countdown Concert and its Midnight Moment carry New Year's Eve, and concerts at both venues close it on 1 January.
NYF Dublin is three days, 30 December 2026 to 1 January 2027, not one night - and that is the reason to come: Dublin Castle carries a concert on each of them, with the Countdown Concert and its Midnight Moment on New Year's Eve. A trip booked for the 31st alone misses two thirds of it.
Day by day: 30 December brings the Echoes of Ireland concerts at Dublin Castle and a music trail across the city; 31 December has a Countdown Concert matinee, then the evening Countdown Concert at Dublin Castle with the Midnight Moment and a street procession; 1 January closes with concerts at Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square.
