About the event
Chiang Mai's Flower Festival takes advantage of the cool, dry season in northern Thailand's flower-growing region to stage a parade of floats built entirely from fresh blooms through the old city. Nong Buak Hard park hosts flower displays and competitions alongside the parade route, showcasing chrysanthemums, orchids and damask roses native to the region.
