About the event

Oktoberfest Blumenau is Brazil’s large German-Brazilian beer and culture festival, staged at Parque Vila Germânica in the Santa Catarina city founded by German settlers. It began in 1984 after severe floods as a way to revive the city’s economy and community spirit, and now combines beer halls, parades, folk music and regional food. The 2026 festival is scheduled for 7–25 October.
