About the event
The Nobel Peace Prize is presented at Oslo City Hall on 10 December every year, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death. It is the only Nobel Prize awarded in Norway — the other five are presented in Stockholm the same day — and the laureate is chosen by the Norwegian Nobel Committee. The 2026 laureate is Navi Pillay. The ceremony date is fixed, so the 2027 presentation falls on 10 December 2027.
