About the event
Vivid Sydney transforms harbour precincts, buildings and public spaces with large-scale light works, live music and ideas programming. First held in 2009, the festival’s best-known installations use the Sydney Opera House and other landmark facades as part of the event rather than as a background to it. The 2027 programme is scheduled from 28 May to 19 June across central Sydney and harbour precincts.
