Tuira Sauna Festival is held in Oulu, a city on Finland's northern coast, and centres on the country's public sauna culture - a tradition UNESCO added to its intangible cultural heritage list in 2020. The festival programmes communal sauna sessions alongside the cold-water plunges that traditionally follow them in Finnish practice.
