About the event
Rally Monte-Carlo, first held in 1911, is the oldest rally in the World Rally Championship calendar and one of the most demanding, combining mountain stages above Monaco that can shift between dry tarmac and ice within the same run - a mix that has decided the event on tyre choice as often as driving.
