About Qatar Grand Prix

The Qatar Grand Prix joined Formula 1 in 2021 at the Lusail International Circuit near Doha, a fast, flowing track originally built for MotoGP. Its long medium- and high-speed corners are punishing on tyres and on the drivers, and the race is run at night under floodlights to escape the desert heat. Qatar signed a long-term deal to keep the race on the calendar into the 2030s. The 2026 race is on 27-29 November.
