About the event

The British Grand Prix at Silverstone hosted the very first round of the Formula 1 World Championship in 1950, and no event has a stronger claim to be the sport's home. The fast, flowing corners - Maggotts, Becketts, Copse - reward brave, committed driving, and the grandstands are among the loudest on the calendar. Lewis Hamilton's nine wins here are an outright record for any single Grand Prix. The 2027 race is on 2-4 July.

Tickets

Each Grand Prix is staged by a local promoter licensed by Formula 1, and that promoter sells the grandstand and general-admission tickets for its own race — often through the circuit's own box office. Official hospitality is sold alongside them on Formula 1's ticketing platform.
