Tour of Flanders, one of cycling's five Monument Classics, is built around the short, steep cobbled climbs of Belgium's Flemish Ardennes - the Koppenberg and Oude Kwaremont among the best known. It holds a cultural significance in Flanders that goes beyond sport, treated locally as close to a regional holiday.
