About this event

Liege-Bastogne-Liege, first raced in 1892, is the oldest of cycling's five Monument Classics and is nicknamed 'La Doyenne' - the elder - for it. Its route through the Ardennes hills, often in cold, wet spring weather, has made it one of the sport's most physically demanding one-day races.
