About the event
The Basketball Africa League, launched in 2021 as a joint venture between the NBA and FIBA, is the first professional league the NBA has directly backed outside North America. Its finals bring together the season's top club teams from across the continent, part of a wider push to build the sport's commercial and talent pipeline in Africa.
