About the event
The Voice's finale caps a season built on blind auditions, the format's signature device: coaches judge singers on voice alone, seated with their backs turned until they choose to press a buzzer and turn around. The finale itself is decided by public vote rather than the coaches, closing out a format now licensed and produced in dozens of countries beyond its original Dutch creation.
