About the event
Anime Expo is North America's largest anime convention, run by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation since 1992. Its programme centres on industry premieres and licensing announcements from Japanese studios and publishers, making it as much a trade event for the anime and manga industry as a fan convention.
