About the event
BRAFA brings 150 galleries from 18 countries to Brussels Expo, open to the public from 24 to 31 January 2027. The days before are not: the Collector's Preview is on 22 January, Exclusive Saturday on 23 January, and Monday 25 January is by invitation only. That matters for planning, because the fair is eight days long but only seven of them are open.
150 galleries from 18 countries take Brussels Expo from 24 to 31 January 2027. BRAFA's spread is the point - it runs from antiquities to contemporary rather than specialising - and at that size it is the first big fair of the European calendar each year, which is why dealers bring fresh material to it.
The fair's own calendar settles this. 22 January is the Collector's Preview and 23 January is Exclusive Saturday, both before the public days. Monday 25 January is by invitation only, so it sits as a closed day in the middle of the run - the open days are 24 January and then 26 to 31 January.
