About the event
Founded in 1988 by Fanny Mikey and Ramiro Osorio, the Ibero-American Theatre Festival of Bogota grew into one of the largest performing-arts gatherings anywhere, built around Easter week. International companies play the city's theatres while free street and park programming carries the festival into neighbourhoods that rarely see ticketed work.
